The players placed in the A-B category under the new central contracts will receive a monthly retainer of Rs4.8 million.
Sources said a player in the A-B category will have an annual income of up to Rs57 million. Top cricketers are expected to earn nearly Rs80 million a year, including match fees for One-Day Internationals and Test matches, sources added.
A leading player may receive a match fee of up to Rs750,000 for a first-class fixture.
Sources said players will receive an additional bonus equivalent to 500 per cent of the match fee if Pakistan wins an ICC event.
An additional bonus equivalent to 300 per cent of the match fee will be paid in the event of victory in an ACC tournament, according to sources.
Sources said a player selected in the A-B category may also become eligible to play Twenty20 Internationals.
