Twelve people were killed in a plane crash near an airport in Butler, Missouri, United States, according to American media reports.
Officials said the aircraft crashed near Butler Memorial Airport, killing all 12 people on board. The dead included 11 skydivers and the pilot.
According to a post by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on X, the crash occurred near Butler Memorial Airport. An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the accident.
Earlier, a United States Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet aircraft crashed in a mountainous area in Washington State during a routine training flight.
Reports said the pilot ejected safely and survived the incident. The pilot sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
US authorities said an investigation into the incident has commenced.
