Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar welcomed on Saturday the US-Iran negotiations entering their final stage.
Dar held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. The two leaders exchanged views on the latest regional developments.
Dar said an electronic signing ceremony for an agreement between the parties is scheduled to take place tomorrow. The two sides agreed that this important development is expected to contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.
The Saudi foreign minister praised Pakistan’s consistent and sustained efforts for mediation and dialogue. Moreover, the two leaders also discussed the forthcoming meeting of the four regional foreign ministers (R4).
The four-country foreign ministers’ meeting will be held in Egypt later this month.
