Three Indian nationals reported missing after attack on tanker near Oman.
According to reports, India has summoned the US chargé d’affaires to the Ministry of External Affairs following an attack on an Indian oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman.
According to a news agency, the Indian oil tanker was attacked near Oman by the US military. Three Indian nationals are reported missing following the incident.
In response to the attack, Indian authorities called in the US chargé d’affaires for consultations at the Foreign Ministry.
Meanwhile, the US military’s Central Command (Centcom) stated that since the start of the blockade on April 13, seven vessels have been rendered inoperative. The command added that 134 ships have altered their course, while 42 vessels carrying humanitarian assistance have been permitted to pass.
