Veteran Bangladesh batter Mushfiqur Rahim and Pakistan women's cricketer Gull Feroza are among the nominees for the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Player of the Month award.
Mushfiqur earned a place on the shortlist after playing a leading role in Bangladesh's 2-0 Test series victory over Pakistan in the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
The experienced right-hander scored 253 runs in two Tests at an average of 63.25. He made 71 in the first Test before striking 137 in the second innings of the second Test in Sylhet.
His performances helped Bangladesh complete a second successive Test series sweep over Pakistan and secured him the Player of the Series award.
Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam has also been nominated following his outstanding display in the same series.
The left-arm spinner finished as the leading wicket-taker with 13 wickets at an average of 19.61. His best performance came in Sylhet, where he claimed 6 wickets for 120 runs in Pakistan's second innings after bowling 34.2 overs.
Taijul also contributed with the bat, scoring 58 runs during the two-match series.
Nepal all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee completes the shortlist after an impressive month in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
Airee scored 249 runs in six One-Day Internationals at an average of 49.80 and a strike rate of 110.66. His tally included a century against the United Arab Emirates and two half-centuries.
He also claimed eight wickets at an average of 19.12 and an economy rate of 4.52. One of his standout performances came against the United States, where he returned figures of 4 for 24.
Pakistan women's cricketer Gull Feroza is also among the nominees announced by the ICC.
