Security forces killed 27 militants during multiple operations conducted over the past 72 hours in North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces targeted several militant hideouts in Miran Shah. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain Indian-sponsored militants. The ISPR said those killed were involved in several terrorist activities and the targeted killings of innocent civilians.
The operation also avenged the targeted killing of prominent local figure Shaheed Malik Saifullah Dawar in Miran Shah.
The ISPR said security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue operations aimed at eliminating militants from the area.
