Pakistani actress and model Merub Ali has undergone surgery for a finger-related medical condition and is now recovering at home after being discharged from hospital.
The actress shared her health update on social media, informing fans that she had been facing difficulty due to restricted movement and repeated locking of one of her fingers, which affected her daily routine.
Doctors initially declared her fit
Merub Ali revealed that she initially consulted a rheumatologist and a neurologist, who did not identify any major issue.

However, an orthopedic specialist later conducted a detailed examination and recommended surgery after diagnosing the underlying problem.
Surgery at Aga Khan University Hospital
According to the actress, the procedure was expected to be minor but turned out to be more complex and time-consuming than anticipated.
The surgery was carried out at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, where she also shared a video update with her fans during treatment.
Merub Ali said she is now recovering gradually after the surgery and expressed gratitude for the support she has received.
Fellow celebrities including Maya Khan, Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, Sana Faysal, and Rabya Kulsoom have wished her a speedy recovery.
Fans on social media have also advised her to rest properly and limit phone usage to avoid strain on her healing finger.
