Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that no decision will be taken without the approval of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
He said all decisions would be made with the consent and co-ordination of the Supreme Leader. In a statement, Masoud Pezeshkian said agreed decisions and collective discipline were necessary for the running of state affairs to ensure the protection of national interests.
President Pezeshkian said any statement, analysis or position that created division within society was, in effect, strengthening the objectives of the enemy.
He said Iran was prepared to assure the world that it was not seeking to acquire nuclear weapons. He added that Iran’s negotiating team would make no compromise on the country’s honour and dignity.
