He said that the Command and Staff College Quetta carries forward a distinguished tradition of professional training and welcomed guest officers from friendly countries.
The prime minister has recalled that a year earlier India had imposed aggression on Pakistan, stating that the adversary had wrongly assumed superiority.
He said Pakistan had extended a sincere offer of dialogue, but instead of a positive response, the enemy chose the path of hostility.
PM Shehbaz stated that Pakistan’s air superiority and missile capability had taught the adversary a lesson it would not forget, while Pakistan’s principled stance had been acknowledged on the diplomatic front and hostile allegations had been fully exposed.
He said that the desire for peace should not be seen as weakness, but as strength.
He added that the Field Marshal demonstrated courage, responsible leadership and professional excellence, strengthening national confidence in the defence of the homeland.
