Bollywood comedy sequel Dhamaal 4 has been delayed once again.
The makers reportedly decided to push the release date to avoid competing with Welcome to the Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar.
The fourth installment of the popular Dhamaal franchise was initially planned for an Eid release in March 2026.
The film was later postponed to June and then scheduled for July 3. However, the makers have now shifted the release date again, with the movie set to hit theatres on July 17, 2026.
According to trade reports, the decision was made to avoid a direct box office clash with Akshay Kumar’s upcoming comedy entertainer.
Industry insiders claim that Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar discussed the release situation before the final decision was made.
Both actors reportedly agreed that releasing two major multi-starrer comedy films too close together could impact the box office performance of both projects.
Instead of creating direct competition, the makers decided to maintain a gap between the releases to benefit theatre business and audience engagement.
