Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held sideline meetings with office-bearers during the South Asian Federation of Accountants conference and stressed the need to strengthen cooperation among regional institutions for shared development and innovation in South Asia.
During the meetings with the SAFA officials, representatives of various South Asian organisations, including SAFA President Humayun Kabir, were also present. Dar emphasised the importance of enhancing regional connectivity and expanding economic partnership across South Asia.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s constructive role in sustainable development and said regional peace and the building of a prosperous region remained among Pakistan’s priorities. He added that the exchange of professional expertise held key importance in promoting economic harmony in South Asia.
