Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq marks a decisive chapter in Pakistan’s national history.
In his message, Dar said the unity shown by the nation during Marka-e-Haq proved to be Pakistan’s greatest strength.
Ishaq Dar said that when the nation stands united, no power in the world can shake its foundations. He said Marka-e-Haq demonstrated that Pakistan’s people, institutions and armed forces can stand together with resolve in moments of national challenge.
According to the deputy prime minister, the unity displayed during Marka-e-Haq became the country’s greatest strength and a guiding lesson for the future.

Dar paid tribute to the brave soldiers and officers of Pakistan’s armed forces. “I salute the brave soldiers and officers of the armed forces,” he said in his message.
He said their courage, sacrifice and professional commitment played a central role in defending the country.
Pakistan gave proportionate, decisive response
The deputy prime minister said Pakistan responded in a proportionate and decisive manner during Marka-e-Haq, adding that Pakistan shot down Indian aircraft and targeted military objectives.
According to Dar, Pakistan’s response sent a clear message that the country wants peace, but will never compromise on its integrity, sovereignty or national honour.

Dar said Pakistan’s position was presented before the international community through effective diplomacy. He said Pakistan made it clear to the world that it believes in peace, stability and responsible conduct.

Dar added that Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach helped communicate the country’s stance with clarity and strength.
Kashmir issue remains central to regional peace
The foreign minister said lasting peace is not possible until the Kashmir issue is resolved in accordance with international resolutions. He said Pakistan continues to believe in resolving disputes on the basis of mutual respect.
Dar emphasized that peace in the region requires justice, dialogue and respect for internationally recognized principles.
Pakistan ready to respond to any threat
Dar said Pakistan does not seek conflict, but any threat will be answered with unity and all available strength. He said the country’s message remains clear: Pakistan wants peace, but will protect its integrity at all costs.
The DPM said Marka-e-Haq is not only a memory of the past but also a term and direction for the future, reminding the nation of the power of unity, preparedness and resolve.
