At least eight people have died in different areas of Karachi due to intense heat and other causes.
Authorities report that several of the deceased remain unidentified as investigations continue.
Most of the deceased could not be immediately identified, raising concerns about record verification and ongoing investigations.
According to rescue details, two individuals died due to drug overdose in Manghopir and Gulshan-e-Hadeed.
One death was reported due to intense heat in Baldia Town.
Deaths during treatment
Officials said five people died during treatment in different parts of the city.
These cases were reported from Clifton, Liaquatabad, Surjani Town, and along the Super Highway.
One body was recovered from Defence Phase 8.
Authorities stated that the identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
Rescue officials added that most of the deceased were between 35 and 60 years of age.
Further investigations are underway to determine the exact causes behind each death.
