Pakistan leg-spinner Usman Qadir is making preparations for a return to domestic cricket.
According to details surfaced on Friday, he has been selected for the Lahore Region Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament. Sources said Qadir secured a place in East Zone Blues after clearing the fitness test.
Meanwhile, Umar Akmal failed to secure a place in West Zone teams after not clearing the basic fitness test, sources added.
His fitness was assessed more than once, but he did not pass on each occasion, according to sources.
