Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reached Muscat, the capital of Oman, following his visit to Pakistan, during which he termed the trip as highly productive.
In a message issued on social media after departing Pakistan, Araghchi expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s sincere efforts for peace. He said that a workable framework had been presented to bring a lasting end to the war, and remarked that it remained to be seen whether the United States was serious about negotiations.
“Very fruitful visit to Pakistan, whose good offices and brotherly efforts to bring back peace to our region we very much value,” he said.
“Shared Iran’s position concerning workable framework to permanently end the war on Iran. Have yet to see if the U.S. is truly serious about diplomacy.”
