Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that the anniversary of the historic United States defeat in the Tabas desert will be marked on May 5.
In a statement issued on social media, Pezeshkian said that in Iran, divine support had reduced American arrogance to dust.
He said that, this year too, with divine assistance, “another Tabas” had begun in southern Isfahan, which he described as a clear failure for the enemy. He added that the guardian of southern Isfahan was the same Lord who had turned the desert sands into a shield against the enemy in Tabas.
The Iranian president expressed hope that such historic defeats would serve as a lesson for the world’s arrogant powers.
