Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt reportedly faced an uncomfortable situation at an airport shortly after the release of Student of the Year.
According to her former bodyguard, she was briefly mobbed by airport staff while she was alone and separated from her security team.
What happened at the airport
Former bodyguard Zeeshan Qureshi shared that Alia Bhatt had cleared immigration and was standing alone in a corner.
The rest of her team was still in the queue, leaving her momentarily without immediate protection.
According to Zeeshan, airport staff and customs officers noticed Alia and quickly approached her for pictures.
“They all surrounded her and said, ‘Ma’am, just one photo,’” he recalled.
He said the situation escalated as more people joined in, creating an overwhelming environment for the actress.
Situation became overwhelming
Zeeshan described how people got very close while trying to take selfies.
“Usko daba ke khade the, gale mein aur kandhe par haath rakhne ki koshish kar rahe the,” he said, explaining that the crowd became physically intrusive.
He added that Alia appeared visibly scared as she stood alone without her security team at that moment.
Bodyguard intervened
After clearing immigration, Zeeshan rushed to the scene and asked everyone to maintain distance.
He said that although the staff were “educated,” they became overly excited on seeing the actress.
“I told them she is an actress, but also a person who deserves space,” he said.
He then escorted Alia Bhatt safely and ensured she was not disturbed further.
