The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said in a report on mobile network service quality that the average download speed across Pakistan has been recorded at 18.60 Mbps.
According to the report, data was gathered from 159 districts over a three-month period, from 1 January to 31 March 2026, based on collected samples.
The report stated that national findings were prepared on the basis of independent OpenSignal tests, with results from 15 cities included.
It stated that more than 1.23 billion samples were analysed during the three-month period under review.
The average upload speed across the country was recorded at 5.81 Mbps, while high-end devices showed an average download speed of 30.20 Mbps.
The video experience score stood at 44.97, while the games score was recorded at 40.93, and time on network was measured at 94.21 per cent.
Network performance was assessed across multiple cities, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, alongside other urban centres.
