Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that US President Donald Trump has no justification to deprive Iran of its nuclear rights, adding that Tehran’s fundamental position rests on the protection of peace, stability and security in the region.
In a statement, President Pezeshkian said there should be no impression that Iran seeks war, stressing that the country is engaged in self-defence and seeks an end to conflict with dignity.
He said that Iranian girls in Australia delivered a strong rebuke to their adversaries, while noting that two girls had fallen into the enemy’s deception and would soon return. He added that the doors of the country would always remain open for them.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that faith, discipline and a revolutionary spirit form the essence of the Iranian armed forces.
In a message issued on National Army Day, Pezeshkian said the army remains resolute in defending the country’s sovereignty. He said the forces stand prepared and united to confront the threats faced by the nation.
He said the Iranian army symbolises national dignity, strength and independence, adding that faith, discipline and a revolutionary spirit are embedded in its character.
The President further said the army plays a vital role in safeguarding the country’s borders and maintaining peace. He added that the armed forces provide assistance and services to the public in times of difficulty.
