Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has criticised United States President Donald Trump, saying the world cannot afford to read daily tweets which contain threats against other countries and declarations of war.
Speaking at a conference of progressive leaders in Barcelona, Spain, President Lula da Silva said that if efforts to halt the Iran conflict fail, the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council will have to change their conduct.
He criticised the US president, stating that it is not acceptable to wake up each morning and go to sleep each night reading the war-related tweets of any head of state.
