Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that the people of Iran have no trust in the United States and that the country’s rights must remain intact.
In a message issued on social media, he questioned the conscience of certain world leaders, asking whether it had ceased to exist, as one state is allowed nuclear weapons while war is imposed on another.
Separately, Iran’s army chief issued a firm warning to adversaries, stating that the country stands ready to respond to any threat or aggression and will remain steadfast in its commitment until the last breath.
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that Iran will hand over its stockpile of enriched uranium and has stated that the United States will obtain all nuclear material.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has also rejected these claims, stating that enriched uranium is as sacred as Iranian soil and will not be transferred under any circumstances.
