An adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has said the Strait of Hormuz will not be vacated until full rights are recognised.
Speaking to Iranian media, Mohsen Rezaee said the United States remains fearful of sustained conflict, while Iran stands ready for a prolonged war.
He said Iranian launch systems are prepared to sink American naval vessels, adding that the Strait of Hormuz will not be left until complete rights are acknowledged.
Rezaee questioned that if Iran’s navy has been destroyed, why the United States lacks the resolve to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
