In Lahore, a key infrastructure project shaping the city’s future came under review as senior officials visited the Ravi River embankment site. The visit underscored the growing focus on sustainable urban development.
Chairman Park View City, Abdul Aleem Khan, along with CEO of Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), Imran Amin, conducted a joint visit to the embankment site along the Ravi River.
The project, currently under active development, is considered a major step toward improved river management and structured urban planning in the region.
Engineering standards
During the visit, officials were briefed on the pace of construction, engineering standards, and upcoming phases of the embankment project.
The review focused on ensuring that development work meets quality benchmarks while maintaining steady progress.
Abdul Aleem Khan expressed satisfaction with the speed and quality of work. He appreciated the teams involved for maintaining efficient execution at the site.
He also emphasized the importance of such infrastructure in supporting long-term, sustainable urban expansion.
RUDA CEO Imran Amin also commended the progress made so far. He noted that the embankment project is advancing at a strong pace and holds strategic importance for future development along the Ravi River corridor.
