Israeli forces have once again intensified their operations in Lebanon.
According to Al Jazeera, bombardment was carried out by Israeli forces at multiple locations in the historic southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
The shelling reportedly resulted in the deaths of 11 Lebanese civilians, while several others sustained injuries. Rescue operations are continuing to extract the injured from the affected areas.
Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, was also struck in the bombing, with plumes of smoke seen rising over the city.
Israeli authorities stated that Hezbollah rocket launch sites were targeted in the strikes.
Hezbollah, in response, fired several rockets towards northern Israel.
Reports indicate that, so far, 165 children and 85 medical volunteers have been killed in Israeli attacks.
