Saudi Arabia’s National Centre for Meteorology has forecast light to moderate rainfall in Riyadh from Wednesday until Thursday.
According to the Saudi Gazette, the rain is likely to affect Riyadh city and several governorates, including Al-Dilam, Al-Muzahimiyah, Dhurma, Marat, Al-Qiddiya, Thadiq, Huraymila, Diriyah, Rumah, Al-Rayn, Hotat Bani Tamim, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj, Al-Ghat, Al-Zulfi, Al-Majma’ah and Shaqra.
Civil Defence has urged the public to exercise caution, follow official instructions and avoid hazardous areas during the expected weather conditions.
Authorities expressed the hope that the rainfall would prove beneficial and a source of blessing for the region.
