Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with the Qatari Minister of State Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi.
The two discussed the latest developments in the region. Ishaq Dar informed the Qatari minister about Pakistan's diplomatic efforts to promote peace and stability in the region. The Qatari minister praised Pakistan and Ishaq Dar for their initiatives in support of peace.

During the conversation, Ishaq Dar conveyed the good wishes of Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
Separately, Ishaq Dar also contacted the Turkish foreign minister. In the telephone discussion with Ankara, he briefed the Turkish authorities on regional developments and Pakistan's efforts to reduce tensions, according to the Foreign Office spokesperson.
