The Iranian mission to the United Nations stated that attacks by the United States and Israel on civilian infrastructure exemplify war crimes and state terrorism.
In a statement issued by Iran’s mission to the UN, it said that civilians and key installations were being deliberately targeted, including the Mahshahr Petrochemical Zone and the Karaj to Tehran B-One Bridge.
The statement added that attacks of this nature by the United States and Israel fall within the category of war crimes and state terrorism, urging the international community to take an immediate and unequivocal stance.
According to Iranian media, the assault on the Mahshahr Petrochemical Zone claimed at least five lives, while two missile attacks on the B-One Bridge in Karaj caused partial collapse of the structure, bringing the death toll to 13 and leaving 95 people injured.
