Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Sunday that 796 militants belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban have been killed so far during Operation Ghazab Lil Haq.
In an update shared on X, the minister released the latest details regarding losses suffered by Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban regime. He said that more than 1,043 militants have also been wounded in the operation to date.
The federal minister added that 286 check posts have been destroyed, while 44 others were seized and subsequently demolished.
He stated that 249 tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery units have been destroyed during the course of the operation.
According to the statement, 81 locations linked to militants and their infrastructure inside Afghanistan have been targeted in aerial strikes.
Pakistan carried out strikes on militant installations in Afghanistan on the night between April 2 and 3, the minister said.
