In a major development for government officials and employees, the federal government has decided to launch two new residential sectors in Islamabad.
Officials say Sector F-12 and G-12 will be formally launched within this month, offering new housing opportunities to a wide range of beneficiaries.
According to officials, employees from various sectors, including government officials and staff, will be able to benefit from the upcoming residential projects. The initiative is aimed at addressing housing needs and expanding planned urban development in the federal capital.

Officials revealed that the Executive Board of the Housing Authority approved the project last month, paving the way for its implementation. The approval marks a key administrative milestone in bringing the new housing sectors to reality.
Development work expands to other sectors
In addition to F-12 and G-12, authorities are also focusing on further expansion. On the instructions of the federal minister, development work has already started in Sectors F-14 and F-15.
This broader effort reflects the government’s commitment to accelerating housing development in Islamabad.
The launch of new sectors is expected to ease housing pressure, particularly for government employees seeking residential options in Islamabad.
Officials say the initiative will contribute to planned urban growth and improve access to housing in the capital.
