Ongoing rains across the country have affected the condition of rivers and streams, a spokesman for the National Disaster Management Authority said.
A medium-level flood was recorded today in the Bodni Nullah in Balochistan, the NDMA said, adding that continuous monitoring of the situation remained necessary.
Low-level flooding was reported in the River Kabul, River Gambila, River Kurram and River Bara.
Water levels in the River Indus and River Swat, as well as other streams, remained within normal limits, the spokesman said.
Residents living in low-lying areas near the River Kabul and Budni Nullah were advised to remain cautious.
The NDMA has directed local administration and rescue agencies to stay on alert.
