Pakistan national side head coach Mike Hesson has issued a message on social media regarding his health following surgery.
He said the past week had been a significant one for him, as a large facet synovial cyst was successfully removed from his spine.
Hesson expressed gratitude to his surgeon, Dr Asif Basher, and the Pakistan Cricket Board’s medical team for their care and support throughout the procedure.
He added that his personal security staff also assisted him closely during recovery.
The head coach said he had now returned home and would spend time with his family in New Zealand while recovering.
It may be noted that the surgery was carried out at a local hospital in Lahore.
