The fourth phase of the Pakistan-China joint naval exercise, Sea Guardian, has begun, with the People’s Liberation Army Navy ship Daqing arriving to participate in the drills.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Navy gave a warm welcome to the Chinese vessel. The exercise will run from March 25 to April 2 and will include gun firing, joint patrolling, and maritime security operations.
Activities will cover both harbor and at-sea phases, along with seminars for young officers and exchanges of expertise among participating personnel.
The ISPR stated that the exercise aims to enhance naval cooperation, professional skills, and mutual coordination between Pakistan and China.
Sea Guardian reflects the two countries’ shared commitment to regional peace and stability and is expected to further strengthen bilateral strategic relations. The drills will also contribute to promoting a secure and stable maritime environment in the region.
