The Pakistan Super League (PSL) administration has drawn up a backup plan to bring foreign players to Pakistan owing to the deteriorating situation in the Middle East. Bookings have been made with various airlines.
Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza has joined Lahore Qalandars. Australia’s Steve Smith and Labuschagne have assured their participation. The PSL’s gleaming trophy has arrived in Gilgit. Matches will commence on 26 March. Atif Aslam and the Sabri Sisters will perform the 11th season anthem.

Earlier, separately, few days back, Karachi Kings have retained former Australian cricket legend David Warner as captain for the forthcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
The Australian cricketer will continue to lead the franchise in the upcoming tournament, the team said.
