Pakistan Railways will run four special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to facilitate travelers, the railway authorities announced.
The move comes under the directives of the Minister of Railways to ensure smooth travel during the holiday period.
Special Eid train schedule
The first Eid special train will depart from Lahore to Karachi on March 16, followed by a second train from Quetta to Rawalpindi on March 17.
On the same day, March 17, a third special train will travel from Karachi to Peshawar, while the fourth train will depart from Karachi to Lahore on March 18.
Railway officials confirmed that these arrangements aim to ease travel for passengers during the busy festive season.
The decision to operate special Eid trains was taken on the instructions of the Minister of Railways, emphasizing the importance of passenger comfort and accessibility during Eid-ul-Fitr.
Authorities advised travelers to plan their journeys in advance and follow official railway updates for timely travel information.
