On the International Day for the Elimination of Islamophobia, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that Islam conveys a message of peace, tolerance, and harmony for all humanity.
He called on the international community to stand against discrimination and prejudice targeting Muslims.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the importance of the United Nations General Assembly’s resolution on preventing Islamophobia. He described it as a vital step to discourage discriminatory and hateful behavior against Muslims worldwide.
PM Shehbaz noted that intolerance towards fundamental religious freedoms undermines values like unity and mutual respect. “Civilized societies do not discriminate in human rights based on beliefs, but uphold principles of tolerance and respect,” he added.
Pakistan condemns all forms of Islamophobia
