The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense has reported that a helicopter crashed in the country, killing two military personnel.
The crash was caused by a technical malfunction, it was reported by UAE authorities.

On the same day, the UAE faced a total of 15 missile and 18 drone attacks, the ministry said. Of the 15 ballistic missiles fired at the country, 12 were intercepted, while three fell into the sea. Seventeen of the 18 drones were also neutralized, with one crashing within UAE territory.
Since the start of the attacks allegedly originating from Iran, the UAE has tracked 253 ballistic missiles, eight cruise missiles, and 1,440 drones. Among these, two missiles and 81 drones landed in the UAE, while the rest were intercepted or fell into the sea.
The attacks have so far claimed four lives, involving citizens from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, and caused minor injuries to 117 people from various countries including the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, and Palestine.
Earlier, Abu Dhabi authorities reported that two people were injured while intercepting Iranian attacks.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that it is fully prepared to respond to all threats and will firmly confront any attempt to undermine the nation’s peace and stability.
