Dubai Airports said in an update issued at 13:21 UAE time that a total of 1,140 flights operated during the past 84 hours despite recent air disruptions.
The flights helped affected passengers travel to several countries. Officials said more than 105,000 outbound seats were provided during this period, allowing a large number of passengers to return to their home countries.
According to the statement, passengers travelling to India, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and other European and Asian cities received facilitation through these flights. Following the disruptions in air operations, flight schedules are undergoing phased restoration.
Dubai Airports said close coordination between Dubai International Airport and airlines enabled arrangements for additional flights and seats to assist affected passengers in reaching their destinations.
Ground services and other agencies also played a role in restoring normal operations.
Dubai Airports advised passengers to confirm the latest status of their flights with their respective airlines before travel and obtain necessary information prior to departure for the airport in order to avoid possible delays or changes.
