Information Minister Attaullah Tarar shared details of the ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, claiming heavy losses inflicted on Afghan Taliban forces during the military campaign.
Speaking about the latest developments, Tarar said that 527 fighters linked to the Afghan Taliban regime had been killed during the operation, while more than 755 others were injured.
He added that Pakistani forces destroyed 237 Taliban checkpoints and took control of 38 additional posts during the operation.
According to the minister, 205 pieces of military equipment including tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery systems belonging to the Afghan Taliban were also destroyed.
Tarar further said that air operations targeted 62 locations inside Afghanistan, which he said were struck effectively during the campaign.
He described the operation as a major step aimed at neutralising militant threats and strengthening Pakistan’s security along the border.
