Former English captain Michael Vaughan has praised New Zealand for securing the final berth of the Men's T20 World Cup following the fastest century in T20 World Cup history, surpassing Chris Gayle of the West Indies.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Vaughan remarked: "This is a hammering. New Zealand have got the right end of the conditions but this really is a powerful display. I keep saying it but they are pound for pound the best team in the world. What they achieve for how much they have and how many they have to pick from is incredible."

Meanwhile, former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen expressed hope that England will overcome India in the second semi-final against the hosts, scheduled tomorrow, to face the Black Caps in the final. "So New Zealand versus England in the final of the T20 World Cup on Sunday. Should be a great game."
