Pakistan’s top leadership has delivered a unified and forceful message amid escalating tensions on the western border, declaring that the state will not compromise on peace, stability or territorial integrity under any pressure or threat.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and senior federal ministers reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond decisively to any aggression.
President Asif Ali Zardari stated unequivocally that the state of Pakistan will not compromise on peace, stability and territorial integrity.
He warned that no one should have the misconception that Pakistan will be intimidated by pressure or threats. According to the president, the entire nation and the armed forces stand “like a leaden wall” for the integrity of the homeland and the protection of its borders.

Zardari emphasized that Pakistan does not seek conflict. However, if Pakistan’s desire for peace is considered a weakness, a strong and stern response will be given.
Armed forces capable of decisive response
The president said the response capability of Pakistan’s armed forces is comprehensive, timely and decisive, and that they have the full capacity to uproot the evil intentions of the enemy.
He stressed that Pakistan is well aware of where the planners, facilitators and guardians of hostile actions are sitting. If bloodshed continues, he warned, the responsible elements will not be beyond Pakistan’s reach.
Reiterating his position, Zardari said the dignified nation of Pakistan and its courageous armed forces stand united to safeguard sovereignty.
Direct warning to Taliban regime
Zardari revealed that for the past five years, the Taliban regime, which he said has forgotten Pakistan’s past support, has been engaged in terrorist acts across Pakistan through TTP militants.
He stated that despite Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, including engagement with brotherly countries, no success was achieved in bringing what he described as a criminal gang back on the right path.
According to the president, the same group has now crossed the international border and challenged Pakistan’s integrity.
He disclosed that after the February 8 suicide attack at a mosque in Islamabad, he had warned the Taliban regime in clear and strong words. He again issued a categorical message on February 22, just days ago.
Pakistan, he said, adopted diplomatic channels as a responsible state and made serious efforts with the support of friendly nations to restore moderation, but no positive progress was made.
PM: No compromise on defense of homeland
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif echoed the president’s position, stating that the people and the armed forces are fully ready to protect Pakistan’s security and territorial integrity.
He said the Pakistan Army is determined not to allow the country’s peace and security to be threatened. Under the leadership of the field marshal, the armed forces are performing their duties with national spirit.
The prime minister emphasized that the army is equipped with professional capabilities and effective defense strategies and is fully capable of dealing with any challenge.
“No compromise will be made on the defense of the homeland,” he declared, adding that Pakistan will fight back if its integrity is threatened. He also reaffirmed that the entire nation stands by the armed forces.
Naqvi condemns Afghan Taliban aggression
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned what he described as the Afghan Taliban’s targeting of civilian populations.
He said Pakistan has already given a befitting reply to the open aggression of the Afghan Taliban, calling the aggression intolerable.
Naqvi stressed that Pakistan’s brave forces remain on high alert to defend the homeland and that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces.
He warned that the Afghan Taliban made a terrible mistake by attacking and would face serious consequences. “We will not let our security be compromised,” he stated.
Aleem Khan backs Operation Ghazab Lil Haq
Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan expressed full solidarity with the Pakistan Army. He described the launch of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq against Afghan aggression as a decisive step and supported what he termed the bold move of the armed forces.
Aleem Khan said the fate of this adventure against Pakistan would be similar to India’s proxy war attempts. He reiterated that terrorist and infiltration operations from the Afghan border are intolerable and that the nation stands firmly by its protectors.
