A gas cylinder explosion in Chaman, Balochistan, has claimed seven lives and injured more than 20 others.
The devastating blast occurred in a house in the Shadzai area during a family gathering.
According to local police, the explosion happened when children and elders had gathered to take Lassi at the house.
The blast caused significant destruction, reducing a large part of the house to rubble. Women and children were among those killed, highlighting the tragedy’s human toll.
Over 20 people were injured, with many rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Rescue teams worked to evacuate victims and provide emergency medical care.

Police confirmed that the cause of the explosion was a gas cylinder but investigations are ongoing to determine if any negligence contributed to the incident.
