The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the Super 8 stage.
According to details surfaced on Friday, the opening fixture of the Super 8 will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand. In the first match, Rodney Tucker and Paul Reiffel will serve as on-field umpires, while Allahuddien Paleker will act as the TV umpire.
Rodney Tucker and Sam Nogajski will officiate as on-field umpires in the Pakistan versus Sri Lanka match scheduled for 28 February.
For the Pakistan and England match on 24 February, Sam Nogajski and Nitin Menon will perform on-field umpiring duties, the ICC said.
Pakistan’s two umpires, Ahsan Raza and Asif Yaqoob, will also carry out responsibilities during the Super 8 stage.
Ranjan Madugalle, Andy Pycroft, Richie Richardson and Javagal Srinath will serve as match referees.
