Major financial and military commitments for Gaza were announced during the Gaza Board of Peace meeting, with key regional countries pledging support for reconstruction and stabilization efforts.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Minister of State Adel al-Jubeir announced that Saudi Arabia will provide $1 billion in aid for Gaza. Addressing the session, he stated that Saudi Arabia stands for peace and justice, adding that lasting peace in the Middle East can only be achieved through a fair resolution of the conflict. He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting development and prosperity in the region.
Turkiye
Meanwhile, Hakan Fidan said that Turkiye would deploy troops to Gaza, stressing the need for coordinated international efforts for the territory’s recovery and stabilization.
UAE
UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan also addressed the gathering, announcing that the United Arab Emirates will provide $1.2 billion to support Gaza. He emphasized that sustainable peace in the Middle East remains a critical regional necessity.
Qatar
Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani pledged $1 billion on behalf of Qatar, reaffirming Doha’s commitment to peace in Gaza. He added that under the leadership of Donald Trump, the council would work without delay toward a peace agreement.
Indonesia
Additionally, the President of Indonesia announced that the country is prepared to provide 8,000 or more troops for a Gaza stabilization force.
