Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani said on Sunday that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, caused severe damage to the country in every respect.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Kayani said that 2025 proved to be a year of success for Pakistan. He said that, alongside victory in Marka-e-Haq, the country also achieved significant successes on the diplomatic front.
He said the recent conflict exposed India’s weakness and highlighted Pakistan’s strength. He added that a United Nations report also supported Pakistan’s position.
Kayani said that the international community was backing Pakistan’s stance on the Indus Waters Treaty. He said all these achievements came under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Field Marshal.
He maintained that Imran Khan wrote a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as part of a conspiracy against Pakistan.
