Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja has inaugurated a new artificial intelligence training module, AI CE-101, at the Civil Services Academy.
The module has been developed through joint collaboration between the Ministry of IT, the Planning Commission, and other relevant institutions.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Shaza Fatima said that the Digital Nation Pakistan Act provides a comprehensive framework for governance reforms, while the National AI Policy places human capacity development at its core.
She added that future civil servants are being prepared for the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence.
The federal minister noted that AI training has now been made a formal part of the Civil Services Academy’s curriculum to ensure that government officers remain aligned with modern technological advancements.
She further stated that 100 percent implementation of the e-Office system has been completed in 38 out of 39 federal divisions, reducing file processing time from 30 days to just four days.
Shaza Fatima also emphasized that affordable, high-speed internet is the foundation of Digital Pakistan, while cybersecurity and artificial intelligence are key pillars of the country’s digital future.
