A local court in Karachi has ordered the release on bail of Armaghan, an accused in the Mustafa Aamir murder case, in connection with charges under the PECA Act and for operating an illegal call centre.
The hearing of the Mustafa Aamir murder case was held in a Karachi local court, where defence counsel Khurram Abbas Awan argued that no challan (charge sheet) had been submitted against the accused to date.
He further told the court that neither the investigating officer appears before the court nor has any witness been produced.
The defence lawyer maintained that there is no written complaint against the accused and requested the court to grant bail. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court approved the bail plea and ordered the accused to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000.
It is noteworthy that Armaghan is facing multiple cases, including the Mustafa Aamir murder case, as well as charges related to illegal weapons and money laundering, which are currently under trial.
