The prime minister’s adviser on political affairs, Rana Sanaullah said on Sunday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) street movement will fail, after which the option of negotiations will also cease to exist.
Addressing a public gathering in Faisalabad, Sanaullah said the political issues can only be resolved through dialogue. He said the prime minister invited the PTI for talks for this very reason, but the party chose street agitation instead of negotiations.
He said the PTI has promoted politics of hatred and a case carrying a life sentence was registered against him. He repeated that PTI’s street movement will fail and no option for talks will remain thereafter.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart said legitimate public matters will continue to be addressed. He said the basic health centres are being established to provide healthcare facilities, and development work has begun wherever government land is available.
He maintained that the public service remains the core manifesto of the PML-N.
