Pakistan marks the birth anniversary of its founder Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with national leaders emphasizing his enduring vision.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on citizens, especially the youth, to uphold Jinnah’s principles of unity, justice, and tolerance.
President Zardari, in his message on the occasion, said Quaid-e-Azam’s ideals of democracy, justice, and equality continue to serve as a beacon for Pakistan. He stressed that national decisions and institutions must be guided by these principles to address contemporary challenges, foster social harmony, and restore confidence among citizens.

“The message of unity, faith, and discipline provides clear direction to the nation, which is vital for overcoming present-day difficulties,” the president said.
PM Sharif pays tribute
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid homage to Quaid-e-Azam, calling him a world leader whose vision and leadership were decisive in establishing Pakistan. He noted that the founder’s principles of equality, religious harmony, social tolerance, and justice continue to inspire the nation.
Sharif emphasized the importance of renewing national commitment to Jinnah’s teachings, stating, “Quaid-e-Azam’s golden principles of faith, unity, and organization are a guarantee of a bright future and a guiding light for generations to come.”
Call for national dedication
Both leaders urged Pakistanis to embody Quaid-e-Azam’s ideals in all aspects of life. President Zardari reiterated the government’s efforts to strengthen democracy, promote tolerance, and protect citizens’ rights, while Prime Minister Sharif invited the nation to pledge sincere and selfless dedication for national honor, dignity, security, progress, and prosperity.
“Quaid-e-Azam’s determination, courage, and leadership turned the dream of an independent Pakistan into reality for millions,” Sharif said, calling on all Pakistanis to follow in his footsteps.
Armed forces pay tribute to Father of the Nation
Field Marshal and Army Chief General Asim Munir led the tributes to Quaid-e-Azam, expressing admiration for the Father of the Nation’s leadership and enduring principles. ISPR reports that the Navy Chief, Air Chief, and other top commanders also participated in commemorating Jinnah’s legacy.
The Armed Forces reiterated that Quaid-e-Azam’s unwavering resolve continues to guide Pakistan in addressing modern-day challenges and strengthening national institutions.
The military leadership affirmed their dedication to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence. They pledged to remain vigilant and fully engaged in defending the country while supporting national development initiatives.
In addition to honoring Quaid-e-Azam, the Armed Forces extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community of Pakistan. They acknowledged the valuable contributions of Christian citizens in various fields, including national development, social services, and community welfare.
ISPR highlighted that the military remains committed to the principles of equal rights, religious freedom, and interfaith harmony, underscoring that Pakistan’s diversity is a source of strength.
Maryam Nawaz pays tribute to Quaid-e-Azam
On the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz offered heartfelt tributes to the Father of the Nation. She also lauded former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his leadership, sacrifices, and role in shaping Pakistan’s prosperity.
Maryam Nawaz highlighted Jinnah’s determination, vision, and hard work, describing him as a leader who united a scattered nation and changed its destiny. She said his principles continue to inspire every generation and serve as a beacon for Pakistanis today.
The Chief Minister praised Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, noting his efforts in defending Pakistan from terrorism, promoting economic development, and improving national infrastructure. She said, “Muhammad Ali Jinnah created Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan beautiful.”
KP CM highlights Jinnah’s principles and Imran Khan’s vision
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his birth anniversary, emphasizing the relevance of his principles in addressing contemporary national challenges. Afridi also connected Jinnah’s vision with the practical concept of a welfare state as promoted by the PTI founder.
Afridi said, “Faith, unity, and organization are not just slogans but the foundation of effective governance.” He stressed that Pakistan’s ideology demands a state built on justice, public welfare, and self-restraint.
KP CM highlighted that the PTI founder aligned the party’s policies with Jinnah’s vision of statehood and national sovereignty. Protecting the ideological foundations of Pakistan ensures national stability and social progress.
Naqvi honours Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership and legacy
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his birth anniversary, calling his life a shining example of honesty, principled leadership, and dedication to the establishment of Pakistan.
Naqvi emphasized that Jinnah’s struggle for Pakistan was based on law, equality, and religious freedom. He praised Jinnah for uniting Muslims under a single platform and turning the dream of an independent state into reality through organization and perseverance.
“Thanks to Quaid-e-Azam, today we are breathing in a free country, and this freedom cannot be taken away until the Day of Judgment,” Naqvi said, urging citizens to continue upholding Jinnah’s ideals in every sphere of life.
