Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohaib Afridi, has said that certain political parties have damaged democracy in their quest for power. He announced the launch of a street movement, emphasizing that the struggle will remain within the bounds of the Constitution and the law.
Addressing a ceremony, Sohaib Afridi stated that the Constitution grants citizens the right to peaceful protest, and that this right will be exercised under all circumstances.
He warned that conspiratorial elements may attempt to incite the youth, urging young people to remain vigilant against anti-state narratives and negative propaganda.
The Chief Minister said that his party has always carried out its struggle within the framework of the Constitution and the law, which he described as their defining identity.
He blamed corrupt elements for introducing a flawed political culture and politics of chaos and division. He added that the movement for “real freedom” will continue strictly within constitutional and legal limits.
He further stated that ensuring complete preparedness at all levels until the founder’s next call is their primary objective.
