Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said on Tuesday that the Afghan government officials face allegations of providing support to terrorists.
Speaking to media at the Parliament House, Chaudhry said: "Pakistan has always sought the resolution of issues through dialogue. Pakistan has honoured all agreements with the international community. Pakistan has consistently shown goodwill towards its neighbouring country."
Chaudhry maintained: "No country has made as many sacrifices for Afghanistan as Pakistan has. Pakistan has not received a positive response from Afghanistan in return. Pakistan continues to face terrorism and cross-border attacks."
He added: "Terrorists enter Pakistan by using Afghan territory. After action is taken, terrorists return to Afghanistan. The terrorists have safe havens in Afghanistan."
"Pakistan has provided evidence of terrorism from Afghanistan to the international community. Pakistan has made it clear that responsibility for peace cannot be accepted unilaterally," Chaudhry maintained.
